TTR-921 and TTR-4000 Discontinuance Notification
Rockwell Collins has discontinued production of all versions of the TTR-921 & TTR-4000 (See SEA promotion) TCAS computers due to obsolescence of key components. The TTR-921 & TTR-4000 will no longer be procurable and replacement units of either TTR-2100 or TTR-4100 must be ordered.
As of August 1, 2015 – Rockwell Collins will no longer be accepting orders but will continue field support and service for the fielded TTR-921/-4000 units on a parts available basis. New orders created after August 1, should be converted to the TTR-2100/4100 Series TCAS Computer.
The new product is lighter and more reliable, while consuming less than half the power of its predecessor with added traffic computer functionality. It is a direct plug & play replacement for the older series (configuration considerations do apply) and meets TCAS Change 7.1 requirements.
