Nighthawk SG102

The SG102 Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) by Nighthawk Flight Systems is a solid-state, three-axis instrument designed for primary heading reference and standby attitude. It offers fast initialization (three times faster than previous models) and selectable ARINC 429 outputs, making it compatible with various avionics systems like radar and satellite communication. It is ideal for upgrading existing BendixKing KCS 55A compass systems and provides a set of heading outputs (XYZ, ARINC 429, RS-232). The system includes a sealed magnetic transducer for stabilized magnetic heading. Available in three versions: for fixed-wing piston and turbine aircraft, as well as a high-vibration version for helicopters.

FEATURES
  • Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS)
  • Replacement Directional Gyro for Piston, Turbine & Rotorcraft Aircraft (see part number chart below)
  • Certified for primary heading reference
  • Solid-state, plug-compatible upgrade for Bendix/King KG102A directional gyro
  • Compatible with all common directional gyro interfaces
  • Pitch and roll output for auxiliary applications requiring stabilization
  • More than 10,000 Hours MTBF, calculated
  • Multiple heading formats (XYZ, ARINC 429 and RS-232) supported to allow upgrading or interfacing with Sandel's SN3500 and SN4500
  • System also includes the MT102 a Sandel-designed solid-state sealed magnetic transducer (magnetometer) for stabilized magnetic heading
  • Compact System - Weighs just over two pounds

In relation to NE (New) parts, many OEMs change their prices and availability without any notice to dealers or the industry. Therefore, through the REQUEST or RFQ indication, we ask that customers contact us for the most accurate price and availability.

In relation to SV & OH parts, the used parts aftermarket in the aviation industry is not an infinite supply. It is a dynamic, constantly changing market that is significantly affected by and susceptible to highs and lows in supply and demand. Therefore, although we attempt to, at times, we are unable to predict the exact moment when an item may be available. Once again, through the REQUEST or RFQ indication on our website, we ask that customers contact us for the most current and accurate price and availability.
