In relation to NE (New) parts, many OEMs change their prices and availability without any notice to dealers or the industry. Therefore, through the REQUEST or RFQ indication, we ask that customers contact us for the most accurate price and availability.
In relation to SV & OH parts, the used parts aftermarket in the aviation industry is not an infinite supply. It is a dynamic, constantly changing market that is significantly affected by and susceptible to highs and lows in supply and demand. Therefore, although we attempt to, at times, we are unable to predict the exact moment when an item may be available. Once again, through the REQUEST or RFQ indication on our website, we ask that customers contact us for the most current and accurate price and availability.
The GMA-35 is typically interfaced via a Garmin GTN-725 or GTN-750. The Garmin GTN-725 or GTN-750 will act as the control head for the GMA-35. All inputs for the GMA-35 will be entered by using the Audio Panel page on the GTN unit.
3D audio is when advanced processing adjusts audio in the headset to simulate how the human ear normally hears and registers sounds in space. The 3D Audio feature makes it seem as though different audio sources are coming from different direction. This feature makes it much easier to focus on and understand one particular source from many. 3-D Audio is useful when multiple audio sources are present. 3D audio processing creates the illusion that each audio source is coming from a unique location or seat position. Because this feature uses different signals for left and right channels, it requires wiring for stereo intercom and stereo headsets. If 3D audio is activated when mono headsets are in use, the listener will still hear all audio sources; however, there is no benefit from location separation.
Yes, the voice recorder feature records all the audio on any selected COM radio selected for transmission and not others selected for monitoring only. Playback is heard by anyone listening on the selected radios. The clearance recorder can record up to 2.5 minutes of com audio.
