In relation to NE (New) parts, many OEMs change their prices and availability without any notice to dealers or the industry. Therefore, through the REQUEST or RFQ indication, we ask that customers contact us for the most accurate price and availability.

In relation to SV & OH parts, the used parts aftermarket in the aviation industry is not an infinite supply. It is a dynamic, constantly changing market that is significantly affected by and susceptible to highs and lows in supply and demand. Therefore, although we attempt to, at times, we are unable to predict the exact moment when an item may be available. Once again, through the REQUEST or RFQ indication on our website, we ask that customers contact us for the most current and accurate price and availability.

As part of our promise to provide the most honest, quality service to our customers, Southeast Aerospace adheres to strict guidelines for certification according to the FAA and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). While most avionics components do not include a prescribed overhaul procedure in the Maintenance Manual, the FAA has set forth guidelines for the cleaning and inspecting of components as referenced in FAR Part 43.2. Therefore, if a component cannot meet the standards of this Federal Air Regulation in relation to inspection criteria and cleaning potential then it should not be deemed as Overhauled. Southeast Aerospace does not believe in simply providing words on a tag or maintenance release to represent the condition of a component. SEA stands behind the work and service followed through with each and every FAA 8130-3 maintenance release it provides.
The IN-132A, IN-152A, IN-1102A monochrome and IN-2026A, IN-2027A, IN-2028A color indicators are compatible with the RT-131A for normal system operation. The IN-232A color indicator is also compatible if the RT-131A has Mod 6 on the receiver board to allow for 240 nmi operation. Please note that some system performance variations may occur if different antenna arrays are utilized in systems.
Weather radar transceivers use a magnetron which is basically a cathode emission device. The magnetron is subject to deteriorization due to aging. Therefore, it is recommended to perform some type of periodic maintenance to detect and correct the effects of aging. This reduces the chance of an in-service failure.

An annual, routine test of the following parameters should made:

- Power output
- Transmitter frequency
- AFC voltage
- Sensitivity (MDS)

Ideally, the test should take place between December and March prior to the peak thunderstorm season.
