SEA Holiday Travel Tips

Planning on flying over the holidays this year? Flying during the holidays can be frustrating and overwhelming at times. One of the most stressful parts of the flying experience is getting through security at the airport, but there is good news...it doesn't have to be. Here are some tips that will help you get through security effortlessly and stress free.

• Arrive at the airport early, at least 2 hours before your flight.
• Enroll in the TSA Pre-Check program to get through security much faster.
• Make sure all liquids are 3.4 ounces or smaller or they must be checked.
• Wear easily removable shoes, kids under 12 do not have to remove their shoes.
• Keep your boarding pass and ID out during the security check process.
• If you are traveling with gifts it is better to either ship them to your destination or to put them in your checked luggage. If you decide to carry them on there is a chance they can be unwrapped for additional inspection.

These are just a few tips to help you get through security with no hassle. Just remember to be respectful to the TSA agents, listen to their instructions and have as much patience as possible. Have safe travels and happy holidays.
